How to Tune In

You can now tune in to Radio Starlion 24 hour a day. Our service includes live programmes at the weekend and on most weekday evenings - see our Programme Schedule for further details.

Throughout Stepping Hill Hospital, Radio Starlion is available in stereo on Patientline channel 1 (www.patientline.co.uk). In addition to the Patientline units, some wards have a wall mounted radio set with a tuning knob behind each bed, or a detachable radio unit which may be hand-held.

In certain wards and dayrooms, you can also hear our service relayed over loudspeakers. If you have any problems with the radio equipment, please ask for help!

Radio Starlion provides a 24 hour service, seven days a week. When we are not broadcasting live programmes from our studio, our computer system takes over playing a broad mixture of music and features specifically aimed at our audience within the hospital.
